Monkstown Community Forum was incorporated in 1995. Its member groups include both voluntary/community groups and statutory organisations from the area. It developed the ‘Green Hut’ site in 2006 using a social enterprise model, providing both commercial and community space. Monkstown Community Forum continues to look for entrepreneurial opportunities to develop its facilities, services and provision.

Monkstown Village Initiatives (formerly the Care Centre) has been in existence, in one form or another, for almost 20 years. During this time we have been at the heart of the Monkstown community, providing support and assistance to the local neighbourhood. We believe in the strength of community and strive to remove barriers and encourage individuals to reach their full potential.
